"Portable Document Format" to "PDF" for clarity.
- [Improvement] Updated the 90-day "Credit card encryption
key change required" message to be more clear about steps to follow as
well as consequences.

The M.O.M. API has also been
updated in this release. The M.O.M. 9 API is separate from the M.O.M. 8
API, as there are different features available in 9 that are not in 8.

You might've hoped... You might've feared... You might
not have cared at all! But the rumors are true: at long last, the next
versions of M.O.M. and SiteLINK are out TODAY!
In a nutshell
I'll spare you a "death-by-feature-list" recitation --
Marketing has already sent out and posted some documentation that
describe M.O.M. V9
and SiteLINK
7.3 functionality. Instead, I want to point out something you
might notice from skimming the features, tuning into our webinars
or even coming to meet us
in-person at our free lunch-n-learn seminars: that it's about
time we got some of these features out to our merchants!
At long last
For a long time, our merchants and even our Sales team
have lobbied for things like having "Buy one, get one" (BOGO)
as a promotion type in M.O.M. and SiteLINK--a promotion type that you
and your shoppers expect to see. You've requested
supporting UPS SurePost for shipping cost
savings. Better document security by being able to send
invoices in the PDF format. Adding lot tracking
for product recall purposes. We've heard requests for tons of features
that would make it easier to manage inventory, process orders, and make
it easier to run your business--the whole reason you've trusted M.O.M.
in the first place.
So what?
I won't tell you that M.O.M. V9 is the culmination of
years of development, or that it's the only thing
you need to supercharge your business growth--that wouldn't be
accurate, even though it sounds cool. But V9 and 7.3 most certainly
have been designed to run your business more smoothly. Sure, it's
reaching the age of "venerable", and yes, like every truly powerful
tool, it's not for everyone.
Will it help YOU?
That's the ultimate question, and what we hope to have
achieved. I hope you take a look to learn whether V9 and 7.3 might help
you do even more and even better business!
